Director Alliances

Minimum 15+ years of experience in the technology sector. At least 8 years in senior roles focused on leading global or strategic alliances. Proven success personally structuring, closing, and managing alliances. Strong executive presence with a demonstrated track record of influencing C-level stakeholders. Exceptional ability to translate strategic vision into actionable go-to-market initiatives. Experience managing alliance relationships across Financial Services, Retail, Healthcare, Telecommunications, and the Public Sector. Proven success building and managing alliances with CSPs, GSIs, IHVs, OEMs, ISVs, and leading start-ups. Deep understanding of enterprise software, cloud infrastructure, and open-source technologies. Specific technical proficiency in Databases, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes, Analytics, and AI technology.

Define and execute EDB’s strategic alliance strategy aligned with corporate growth. Build and expand relationships with hyperscalers, GSIs, ISVs, IHVs, OEMs, and technology providers. Drive joint go-to-market initiatives and solution development. Collaborate cross-functionally to embed alliance initiatives into core business strategy. Negotiate and close complex, high-value strategic agreements. Work with Product to accelerate the EDB PG AI product roadmap through partnerships. Enable sell-with and sell-through GTM motions with partners. Represent EDB externally as a thought leader at industry events.
