Requirements
- 7+ years of professional product design experience
- 3+ years of designing complex enterprise SaaS products
- Experience leading qualitative and quantitative UI/UX/user research
- Experience with end-to-end design and shipping products
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in law-enforcement, fire, or EMS software is a plus
- Experience co-designing with customers
- Experience designing features for situational awareness
- Excellent visual design and presentation skills
- Understanding of native iOS and Android applications is helpful
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
Responsibilities
- Own the 0-1 product design process by conducting research, designing solutions from insights, iterating based on data, and collaborating closely with product and engineering.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate design thinking and innovation.
- Lead design solutions for law enforcement, EMS, firefighters, other first responders, and 911 dispatchers.
- Design across devices—ranging from multi-panel workstations to in-vehicle laptops, tablets, and mobile apps across various environments.
- Proactively standardize design across the team for conducting feedback, planning roadmaps, and supporting engineering.
- Present design solutions to customers and leadership teams, actively seeking feedback, and iterating quickly.
- Drive AI/ML across the product portfolio.
- Guide discovery ownership process including understanding the problem, conducting user research, generating ideas, collaborating cross-functionally and maintain design consistency.
