Commercial Counsel

JD with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar (New York or California preferred). 3-6 years of relevant legal experience (in-house experience with technology or SaaS companies strongly preferred). Proven track record drafting and negotiating complex commercial and technology agreements. Strong knowledge of enterprise software licensing, SaaS, data protection, and intellectual property. Experience advising on privacy, cybersecurity, and cross-border data transfer issues. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Draft, review, negotiate, and close complex commercial agreements. Partner with sales, business development, and operations teams. Monitor and interpret evolving legal and regulatory developments. Develop, maintain, and localize contract templates, playbooks, and policies. Provide clear, pragmatic, and commercially focused legal advice. Contribute to scaling the Legal Team’s commercial function. Implement and utilize AI tools and workflow automation.
