Implementation Engineer

5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise observability platforms (Splunk, Datadog, New Relic, Sumo Logic, ELK). Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker). Proficiency in query languages (SPL, PromQL, etc.). Understanding of OpenTelemetry standards. Experience with log aggregation, metrics collection, and distributed tracing. Exposure to Infrastructure-as-Code tools and API integration. Solid grasp of observability best practices and SRE principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Presentation abilities for executive-level discussions. Project management experience in complex customer-facing engagements. Cross-functional collaboration skills. Strong documentation skills.

Conduct assessments and develop migration plans for customer observability infrastructure. Configure Observe platform components, including data ingestion pipelines, dashboards, and alerting. Execute large-scale data migrations, transforming existing queries and rules to Observe equivalents. Conduct training sessions and develop custom materials for the Observe platform. Tune data ingestion and processing pipelines for optimal performance and cost. Partner with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, and Support teams.
