Senior Manager, Technical Accounting

6+ years of relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or 4 years of relevant experience. Certified Public Accountant licensure (CPA). 2+ years of experience with US-based insurance companies. 2+ years of practical experience in financial reporting.

Lead technical accounting work under US GAAP and statutory reporting. Partner with teams to provide technical accounting expertise for new transactions. Prepare technical accounting analysis on complex issues. Create accounting policies. Oversee and apply new accounting pronouncements. Work with external auditors on technical accounting matters. Review financial disclosures in SEC and statutory filings. Develop cross-functional relationships to provide accounting guidance. Perform ad-hoc technical accounting research and analysis. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
