Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer - L5 (Contract to Hire)

6+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, or similar cloud infrastructure provider. Strong experience with frontend (TypeScript, React) and backend (GoLang, Python, or Java) development. Deep understanding of web application architecture and system design for scalability. Experience with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Ginkgo. Knowledge of databases such as Postgres, DynamoDB, and BigQuery. Comfort with infrastructure as code (Terraform or similar tools). Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration (Nice to Have). Experience integrating with commerce platforms like Magento 2, BigCommerce, or SFCC Demandware (Nice to Have).

Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Go and frontend applications in TypeScript. Drive development of the Connect-specific merchant dashboard and enhance overall merchant dashboard experience. Collaborate with design, product, and data teams to build performant checkout flows. Optimize PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Elasticsearch databases. Lead technical initiatives, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor junior engineers. Partner with merchants to understand needs and troubleshoot issues. Ensure compliance with PCI, data privacy, and fraud-prevention standards. Build and maintain REST APIs and webhooks. Use Datadog for logging, monitoring, and tracing. Identify inefficiencies, automate workflows, and create proactive monitoring tools.
