Staff DevSecOps Engineer - Tech Lead

10+ years combined experience in DevSecOps, DevOps, CloudOps, or Site Reliability. Experience in a mentor or leadership position. Willingness to travel to the Houston office twice per year. Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure services (AKS, Key Vault, etc.). Proven experience managing .NET applications (monolithic and microservices) for a SAAS platform. Deep hands-on expertise with Azure and familiarity with AWS environments. Strong proficiency in GitLab CI/CD. Demonstrated skill in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS). Experience implementing security automation (SAST/DAST, secrets management). Knowledge of cloud networking, IAM, and identity management (Azure AD, VNet, NSGs). Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).

Guide a team of four DevSecOps engineers. Maintain GitLab-based pipelines, integrating security scans and compliance. Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform. Architect, automate, and manage infrastructure in Azure and AWS. Implement and optimize alerting and performance monitoring through New Relic. Implement automated vulnerability scanning and secrets management. Enforce disciplined change control and deployment approvals. Identify opportunities to enhance delivery velocity, system resilience, and cost efficiency. Participate in on-call rotation for production environments. Design scalable DevSecOps solutions to accelerate delivery and improve reliability. Streamline CI/CD processes through automation. Lead cloud migration initiatives. Manage and optimize cloud spend through FinOps. Champion trunk-based development and shift-left implementation.
