Requirements
- 10 + years of experience in or with the Life, Health, and/or Travel insurance sectors, ideally in product, proposition, partnerships, or claims-related functions.
- Proven negotiation, closing and partnership-management skills with insurers or corporate clients.
- Solid understanding of the insurance product lifecycle and distribution models (bancassurance, broker, digital, group).
- Good understanding of digital health products and the local policy environment in Hong Kong.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, other regional languages are a plus.
- Strong ability to build trust-based relationships quickly and maintain them long-term.
- Proficient with PowerPoint/Keynote/Slides, Word/Docs, and Excel/Sheets.
- Available for a full time role based in Hong Kong.
- Occasional travel within Asia will be required.
Responsibilities
- Lead business-development and partnership initiatives in Hong Kong, with potential regional coverage across Asia.
- Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships with insurers, reinsurers, brokers, and digital health / insurtech partners.
- Drive end-to-end deal cycles — from prospecting, commercial modelling, and negotiation to contracting and execution.
- Develop annual growth plans and KPIs aligned with company objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and long-term partner satisfaction.
- Stay ahead of market, competitive, and regulatory trends in the Hong Kong and regional insurance landscape.
- Represent the company at industry events, forums, and partner meetings.
