Requirements:
Leadership skills and desire to manage people. Professionalism and ability to work with diverse individuals. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel). Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Ability and willingness to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Critical thinker and problem solver. Proficient in research terminology and basic medical terminology. Understanding of the clinical development paradigm and government regulations, GCP, and ALCOA-C (particularly in LATAM). Strong organization and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Proper home office setup with a private space and high-speed internet. Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience. At least six years of relevant clinical research experience. At least two years of experience leading teams. Fluency in Portuguese and Spanish. Fluency in English is a bonus.
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of the day-to-day work of the SSS team. Interview, hire, onboard, and train new SSS professionals. Act as the point of contact with staffing partners. Understand LATAM recruitment trends. Set clear and actionable goals for the team. Review KPIs and provide coaching. Facilitate team meetings. Balance workload and assess team utilization. Take corrective action and provide feedback. Update leadership on team and performance. Present team progress and performance to Sponsors. Serve as point of escalation for site-based issues. Develop partnerships with sites, clients, and study teams. Ensure team conducts work in accordance with GCP. Proactively solve problems and identify process improvement opportunities. Analyze and understand study protocols.
