Senior Security Engineer

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity or security engineering. Deep expertise designing and implementing security controls across cloud and on-prem infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure). Strong experience with application security, threat modeling, vulnerability management, and incident response. Hands-on proficiency in security automation, network and data protection, authentication/authorization mechanisms, and encryption. Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (GDPR, SOC2, PCI DSS, etc.) and security standards. Proven track record mentoring engineers and influencing secure development practices. Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Architect, develop, and implement scalable security systems, protocols, and automation. Conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments. Collaborate with engineering, product, and DevOps teams to embed security into SDLC. Monitor security events, analyze alerts, and lead incident response. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, SOC2, PCI DSS). Develop and maintain security policies, documentation, and tooling. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Lead security architecture reviews. Partner on security audits, assessments, and compliance initiatives. Stay current on emerging threats and security trends.
