Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in fundraising, development, or relationship management (nonprofit or ministry setting preferred). Proven success in securing five- and six-figure gifts from individuals or organizations. Demonstrated ability to manage a regional portfolio of donors and achieve annual revenue goals. Alpha experience preferred. Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident public speaker. Strategic thinker with strong organizational and time-management abilities. Self-motivated and proactive; able to work independently in a remote or field-based environment. Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), Microsoft Office, and virtual communication tools.
Responsibilities:
Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-level, major, and planned giving donors. Cultivate authentic relationships through personal visits, calls, and communication. Develop customized cultivation and stewardship plans. Solicit gifts to secure annual and multi-year commitments. Ensure timely donor follow-up and impact updates. Identify new opportunities for growth and engagement within the region. Collaborate on an annual fundraising plan with measurable goals. Represent the organization at events and engagement opportunities. Partner with Donor Communications for consistent messaging. Work with Development leadership and peers for alignment. Coordinate with Events and Marketing for strategic events. Collaborate with Finance for gift tracking and reporting. Maintain accurate donor records in CRM (Salesforce preferred). Track progress toward fundraising goals. Use data to inform strategy and improve donor engagement.
