Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required; concentration in life sciences preferred. Advanced degrees (RN, MSN, MBA) are a plus. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Patient Access, Market Access, Specialty Pharmacy, Nursing, or related areas. 2+ years of experience strongly preferred in Long-Term Care. Strong knowledge of payer dynamics, Medicare Part A and Part D access is preferred. Track record of increased responsibilities. Strong history of cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrated success leading without authority. Patient-centric and service-oriented mindset. Exemplary interpersonal skills. High emotional intelligence and empathy. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Understanding of HIPAA rules. Strong written and verbal communications as well as presentation skills. Excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Ability to manage expenses within allocated budgets. Adaptable and open to an environment of change. Strong enthusiasm with a drive to succeed within a team. Ability to travel up to 60%.
Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert in preventing and addressing access and reimbursement issues. Educate healthcare providers on navigating the access process. Proactively work with LTC facilities to build and maintain product access knowledge. Coordinate with customer support, pharmacies, and field teams to support patient access. Escalate local payer issues to regional account managers. Condense complex issues into simple solutions by working with cross-functional peers. Serve as an expert in assigned territory for Acadia Customer Support Programs. In-service LTC facilities on prescription process, including coverage pathways and financial assistance. Partner with cross-functional colleagues to address LTC facility needs. Drive completion and follow-through of LTC-specific forms and documentation. Maintain consistent on-site presence in LTC facilities. Coordinate with hub resources to minimize therapy gaps. Liaise with LTC pharmacies to coordinate dispensing and troubleshoot issues. Track, synthesize, and communicate field insights to inform strategies.
