Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Labor Relations, Human Resources, Law, or a related field 5–7 years of experience in payroll management and compliance Advanced knowledge of Spanish labor and tax legislation, including collective bargaining agreements Proven experience implementing Equality Plans Proven experience preparing Pay Registers Advanced Excel user Experience with Sage payroll software is a plus Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities High level of confidentiality and attention to detail Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish
Responsibilities:
Implement and monitor Equality Plan measures Prepare and maintain the Pay Equity Register Review compliance with the Sexual Harassment Prevention Protocol Launch and monitor the LGTBI Plan and Protocol Update the Collective Bargaining Agreement and internal regulations Oversee compliance with the Spanish General Disability Law (LGD) Coordinate with legal advisors on immigration and expatriation Review legal updates relevant to labor law Manage the end-to-end payroll process Prepare monthly accounting entries for payroll Provide documentation for annual audits Submit and verify Social Security contributions Prepare and reconcile tax models (111, 216, and 190) Generate regular reports for Management and Finance Support employees with payroll, deductions, and benefits queries Manage the termination process Provide support during onboarding processes Manage FUNDAE training credits Collaborate on documentation for R&D project grants
