Requirements:
7-12 years of experience in business development, with strong hunting and account expansion experience, ideally within risk, compliance, or due diligence services. Proven success selling to financial institutions (private equity, banking, asset management, insurance, or law firms). Deep understanding of compliance domains such as KYC, AML, third-party risk, or transactional due diligence. Strong consultative and interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and trust at senior levels. Track record of managing a personal book of business, exceeding annual revenue targets, and closing six- or seven-figure opportunities. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities. Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools for pipeline management and forecasting. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications (CAMS, CFE, etc.) a plus. Based in the United States with willingness to travel for key client meetings and events.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a business development strategy to grow Tech-Enabled Services / Due Diligence revenue within financial institutions. Build and manage long-term relationships with senior executives at private equity firms, banks, asset managers, and insurers. Generate new logo business while expanding existing relationships through cross-selling and account growth. Lead discovery conversations to understand client needs and partner with delivery teams to design tailored service solutions. Deliver compelling proposals, capability presentations, and value-driven narratives. Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction. Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting in Salesforce. Represent Exiger at industry conferences and client events. Monitor emerging trends in financial crime compliance, third-party risk management, ESG, and regulatory enforcement. Provide client and market feedback to shape go-to-market strategies and service innovation.
