Staff Security Engineer

Hands-on engineering background (Software Engineer, Operations Engineer, or SRE) Experience building and running systems Proven ability to implement and maintain CI/CD systems integrating security controls (SAST, DAST, dependency scanning) Comfortable making or guiding changes in AWS (IAM, authentication, API, and database security) Understanding of AWS operational and compliance implications Exceptional stakeholder management skills Metrics-driven approach to define, measure, and communicate progress

Establish Boulevard’s dedicated security engineering program Integrate SAST, DAST, and dependency scanning into CI/CD pipelines Develop security metrics and a vulnerability management program Create and maintain a roadmap for security improvements Understand PCI and HIPAA environments and ensure compliance Integrate security best practices into team workflows Implement security solutions, improve CI/CD pipelines, and strengthen AWS infrastructure security Evaluate security posture against metrics and identify risk reduction opportunities Define and execute a security strategy Assist with compliance activities Automate evidence gathering and strengthen controls for PCI, SOC 2, and HIPAA
