Systems Engineer

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field 3+ years of hands-on systems engineering experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Demonstrated experience evaluating and implementing AI/ML technologies and tools Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization, and DevSecOps practice Experience with government security, compliance, and ATO processes (IT-II, Secret clearance environments) Strong technical writing and ability to prepare documentation, whitepapers, and executive briefings Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audience Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders Cloud platform certifications (AWS, Azure, or GCP) preferred; security or AI/ML certifications a plus

Lead evaluation and assessment of emerging AI/ML technologies and cloud-based platforms (AWS) Develop technology strategy and roadmaps for AI/ML tool integration and deployment Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Cyber, Operations, Development) on technology requirements and implementations Manage security, compliance, and authorization (Risk Management Framework (RMF) to include Authority to Operate (ATO)) processes for new technology deployments Conduct research and proof-of-concept (PoC) testing for emerging technologies and platforms Prepare technical documentation, whitepapers, and briefings for executive leadership Collaborate on cloud infrastructure planning and optimization (AWS Bedrock, OpenSearch, Postgres, etc.) Support program-level planning and strategic alignment with stakeholder objectives Evaluate vendor solutions and third-party tools for integration with government systems Maintain technical documentation and configuration standards for approved technologies Support Agile teams in adoption of new tools and technologies Brief leadership on technology initiatives, roadmaps, and strategic recommendations
