Senior DevOps Engineer

5+ years working in Systems Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or similar. 5+ years of experience with Linux systems, including network protocols. Experience with programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Ruby, Bash, Java). 3 years of experience with Kubernetes (cloud and on-premises). Solid experience managing and maintaining databases in Kubernetes. Expert skill in packaging software into helm charts for rapid deployment. Experience with Elasticsearch or similar search technology at scale. Experience with Postgres or similar database technologies at scale. Systems configuration management experience with automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Chef, Terraform). Experience with Monitoring, Metrics and Central logging tools. Experience building automation tools and managing Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines.

Design, architecture, and implementation of systems, software, networks, and services. Build scalable and efficient services in collaboration with development teams. Identify and remedy operational inefficiencies through automation. Troubleshoot deployment issues and assist with incident response. Manage software releases into production using latest tooling. Lead development of solutions for operational and reliability challenges.
