Staff Software Engineer

7+ years of professional software development experience. Expert proficiency in Typescript and Python. Deep experience with modern cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP). Deep working experience in highly agile and fast-iteration environments. Demonstrated ability to understand complex distributed systems, microservices architecture, and performance optimization at scale. Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, containerization, virtualization, and modern database technologies. A portfolio or history of delivering projects from start to full completion or significantly overhauling critical systems single-handedly or as the primary technical lead. Experience in rapid-development methodologies. Public contributions to open-source software, conference speaking, or significant internal tooling development.

Design, develop, test, and deploy complex, high-performance, and scalable software solutions across the full stack. Consistently deliver features and projects at a pace that is multiple times faster than the team average. Take ownership of critical system components, providing key input on architecture, design, and implementation choices. Write exceptionally clean, well-tested, and documented code. Conduct rigorous code reviews that significantly improve the quality and efficiency of the team's output. Seamlessly shift between front-end, back-end, infrastructure, and database tasks. Act as the go-to expert for diagnosing and resolving the most complex and ambiguous technical issues. Proactively identify and automate manual, repetitive, or inefficient processes within the development lifecycle. Actively mentor mid-level and junior engineers. Help define and champion best practices, design patterns, and engineering standards. Work closely with Product Management and stakeholders to refine requirements and challenge technical assumptions.
