Requirements:
Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in construction of utility-scale renewable and/or energy storage plants. Minimum of five (5) years in project management activities. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Broad technical base to grasp production, process, logistics, and/or design concepts for renewables and energy storage. Demonstrated field experience in installation & commissioning activities. Construction experience with utility-scale power projects in California. Project construction experience in at least two of: ERCOT, CAISO, PJM and NYISO preferred. Customer focused personality with critical reasoning and judgment. Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a proactive work ethic. Ability to plan, oversee, and personally execute numerous projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
Lead construction management and project management for energy storage and hybrid projects. Coordinate installation and commissioning of project equipment via EPC, OEM vendors and sub-contractors. Contribute to the long-term project management and execution strategy. Report key performance indicators monthly to management. Manage relationships with project delivery and service companies. Collaborate to seamlessly integrate projects under construction into operations. Administer and track warranty claims and manage project scope. Structure, negotiate and execute construction contracts with EPC vendors. Develop and track project budget for capex and construction. Ensure projects are delivered within budget, schedule and without lost time incidents. Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards. Track project lessons learned to support continuous improvement.
