Requirements:
1+ year in a formal MuleSoft Architect role. Expert in API-led design on Mule 4/Anypoint. Experience with AI/LLM tools for acceleration. MuleSoft Platform Mastery: DataWeave 2.x, CloudHub 2.0, RTF, Flex Gateway, Anypoint MQ. DevOps, CI/CD & IaC: Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions/Jenkins, Maven, Terraform. Security & Standards: RAML/OAS, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, mTLS/TLS, secrets, encryption. Observability & SLOs: Anypoint Monitoring, Datadog/Splunk. Cloud & Networking: AWS/Azure VPC/VPN. Messaging & Eventing: Anypoint MQ/Kafka. Programming Proficiency: Strong Java/Node.js. Client-Facing Consulting Experience. MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect and/or MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect.
Responsibilities:
Design API-led target state, NFRs, and governance. Stand up MuleSoft environments and promotion paths. Publish reusable assets in Exchange. Author an AI playbook and prompt library. Guide CI/CD and zero-downtime deployment strategies. Define SLOs, alerts, and dashboards. Plan and manage project milestones, scope, and change. Forecast and communicate project status, risks, and decisions. Own discovery, solution architecture, and SOWs. Translate architecture into value narratives. Write ADRs, API docs, and runbooks.
