Staff Cloud Security Engineer

Experience working within a fast-paced SaaS company Experience with cloud-first environments Comfortable with IaC tools such as Terraform / Spacelift Comfortable with engineering tools such as CircleCI and Git Comfortable reading cloud configurations and understanding architecture from code Proficiency with a scripting language (Python, PowerShell, etc.) Extensive knowledge of AWS and/or Azure and other cloud platforms Demonstrated expertise in designing secure cloud, application, and system architectures Intimate familiarity with cloud-native security tooling, logging, identity management, and security policy Working knowledge of incident response processes and strategies Familiarity with computer forensic tools and methods Familiarity with a query language (jQL, SQL, Splunk, etc.) Excellent communicator capable of thriving in a distributed, asynchronous work environment

Drive effective security detection and response across production platform Design, evaluate, and implement architectural security standards for AWS, Azure, and PaaS cloud platforms Partner with DevOps and Platform teams to build security into the infrastructure-as-code lifecycle Review architecture and product development pitches for security and privacy by design Manage a vulnerability management program for cloud environments Develop strategies for incident response and recovery Implement tools for threat detection and prevention Own cloud security controls end-to-end, including design, monitoring, and remediation
