Technical Lead, IOS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or closely-related. 5+ years of technical leadership experience. Experience building iOS apps that integrate health sensors (Continuous Glucose Monitors, smartwatches, BP monitors, smart scales, etc.) and deliver a seamless, user-friendly experience. 9+ years of iOS software development experience. 9+ years writing software in Swift programming language. 5+ years of experience designing and implementing local databases using SQLite. Expert or mastery level using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Windsurf, ChatGPT). 1+ year of Flutter and Dart development experience (Preferred). 1+ year of Python/AI development experience in AWS (Preferred). 1+ year of Android and Kotlin development experience (Preferred). Experience in mobile software CI/CD, developing iOS Bluetooth/IoT solutions, iOS security (Preferred). Must be interested in and capable of learning new coding languages as required. Within 90 days, this position necessitates developing proficiency or mastery in Flutter, Dart, Python, AWS, and AI system design.

Lead the iOS engineering team, focusing on productivity, quality, and results. Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software. Build best in class mobile apps. Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. Focus on overall product quality and user experience. Take initiative and be responsible for technical solutions. Own and maintain engineering best practices. Mentor and coach new engineering hires and other software engineers. Take on additional responsibilities as needed, including on-call rotations. Comfortable wearing a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM), and other health related sensors.
