Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field; MBA preferred. 10+ years of experience in senior Sales roles within the CPG sector; beauty industry preferred. Ability to travel for retailer meetings, company summits, and industry events. Proven track record of successfully leading a Sales Team with multiple layers of reporting. Strong insight-led selling experience with ability to author go-to-market plans. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate remote teams. Strong project management skills and experience managing cross functional internal and external teams. Proven success in short and long term business planning and commercial strategy. Ability to thrive in a high speed to market environment.
Responsibilities:
Strategize, build, and implement comprehensive sales and commercial strategy. Lead the Sales forecasting process, including revenue targets, POS targets, and inventory/demand planning. Identify market opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape. Lead the sales team for relentless achievement of revenue goals. Monitor sales performance metrics and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with marketing and product development for go-to-market strategies. Build and achieve yearly commercial targets, including revenue, distribution, and trade spend. Lead negotiation and guidance for commercial terms and retailer authorizations. Analyze and develop promotion strategies. Guide, mentor, and directly lead the Sales team. Foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving sales targets. Build and maintain strong buyer/merchant and senior leadership relationships. Ensure high level of timely and effective responses to retailers/buyers. Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Legal teams.
