Developer Advocate

3–5 years as a software developer, platform engineer, SRE, or DevOps engineer 5–10 years total professional experience, ideally in B2B SaaS startups (Seed to Series C) Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and open-source ecosystems Proven ability to engage technical audiences through events, webinars, or technical training Excellent written and verbal communication skills Passion for community building and developer advocacy Experienced speaker with a track record of conference talks, technical trainings and webinars Hands-on familiarity with Argo CD (can be learned in role) Experience with Kargo or similar deployment tools Knowledge of CNCF, KubeCon and open-source community dynamics Prior experience creating SDKs, sample code, or developer documentation

Act as a subject matter expert (SME) on Argo CD and Kargo Create and deliver talks at conferences, webinars, and technical trainings Actively engage with developers across channels: community forums, GitHub, meetups, and industry events Produce high-impact technical content, including technical blog posts, tutorials, demos, and videos Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to surface developer feedback and influence product direction Champion community growth by building relationships, responding to questions, and nurturing an inclusive, active user base Serve as a trusted point of contact within the Argo CD community Represent Akuity externally at conferences and DevOps events (quarterly travel ~20%)
