Solutions Architect I

3+ years' experience in roles demanding customer interaction and technical prowess (e.g., Solutions, Sales Engineering, technical account management). 3+ years' experience with integration development, APIs, or IPaaS systems. Experience building out complex code (ideally, using JavaScript). Established track record of driving cross-functional organizational alignment. Outstanding analytical and decision-making skills for complex and ambiguous situations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for conveying information to all levels of the organization.

Support sales team for custom integration build outs for large merchants. Research upstream APIs and systems, and build ERDs including field mapping. Build RFPs for custom work needed for customers. Work with the partnerships team on new integrations, collect feedback, and translate it to developers. Interface directly with customers to collect user requirements and system documentation. Project manage integrations alongside SI partners, keeping internal stakeholders informed. Leverage SI partners, internal engineers, technical support, and sales engineering to complete projects. Provide quality recommendations on architecture by understanding upstream systems and ShipBob's API.
