Requirements:
B.S. Degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering or related degree. 8+ years of experience in Transportation Engineering (Land Development) including design and project management. Demonstrated effectiveness in design tasks related to state and local municipal public works projects and private land development projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D. Broad understanding of transportation design and planning standards, including state agency submission processes. Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct civil engineering design tasks for public works and private land development projects. Present effectively at client and public meetings. Maintain project financials, budgets, and schedules. Manage and mentor staff, provide guidance, and resolve issues. Prepare project scopes and budgets for proposals and contracts. Maintain client communication with municipalities and regional agencies.
