Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of proven experience in a similar role. Understanding of Australian and New Zealand insurance industry regulations. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong ability to interpret and apply regulatory legislation. Knowledge of political and economic structures in key operating regions. Exceptional attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and ad hoc requests.
Responsibilities:
Assist in establishing and coordinating compliance processes. Support the planning and preparation of submissions to government authorities. Help develop and maintain regulatory policies and programs. Recommend product specification updates based on statutory requirements. Arrange re-registration of existing product lines and follow up on applications. Contribute to the development of regulatory reports. Research political and industry information for regulatory trends. Support the rollout and maintenance of compliance-related software systems. Assist in risk management and risk reporting activities. Provide assistance in contract management and administration.
