Fluency in both English and Spanish Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field preferred (social work, public health, psychology) Two or more years of experience in a healthcare setting desired Experience in oncology care strongly preferred Experience in healthcare advocacy or health education is a strong asset Certifications such as Certified Patient Navigator, Community Health Worker, Case Manager, or Social Worker are strongly preferred ACS LION certification must be completed within 30 days of starting Knowledge of supportive care principles and evidence-based techniques for oncology patients Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate individual supportive care plans Experience working with grief and loss Ability to educate members and/or caregivers on disease nature and care/treatment Excellent listening, written, and communication skills Empathic and compassionate attitude Critical thinking skills Ability to adapt to client expectations and patient population needs Ability to work with diverse populations Strong time-management skills and organizational skills Ability to multitask across multiple digital platforms Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR), Google programs, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, and telehealth technologies Private location with WiFi for remote working (HIPAA-compliant) Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports Authorized to work in the United States Pass a background check
