Staff Test Automation Engineer

Deep understanding of modern quality engineering practices. Strong technical foundation in release management, automation frameworks, and CI/CD systems. 7+ years of experience building and maintaining test automation at multiple layers (integration, end-to-end) for complex web applications. Proven experience driving shift-left quality practices. Hands-on experience with performance, resilience, and security testing, including integration into CI/CD pipelines. Experience building internal tools or developer utilities. Strong understanding of API quality, including contract validation and dependency testing in distributed systems. Demonstrated ability to mentor and influence engineers on quality ownership and best practices. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Define and implement strategies that improve release integrity. Design and instrument quality health metrics and dashboards. Drive internal tooling initiatives to improve developer experience. Partner across engineering, infrastructure, and product for system-level quality improvements. Use data and experimentation to refine quality approach. Develop first-class quality measures focusing on monitoring and observability.
