Senior Director, Enterprise IT and SecOps

Bachelor’s degree in a related field Minimum of 18 years of relevant work experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, IT consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, or technology solutions Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing teams 10 + years of experience working with internal stakeholders Proven success managing complex IT environments and security programs in high-growth or startup settings Proven experience implementing and managing an O365 tenant across enterprise environments Strong knowledge of cloud service providers, particularly AWS, networking, endpoint management, and cybersecurity frameworks Demonstrated success in managing GRC and SecOps through third-party providers Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, PMP) are a plus Experience with compliance audits and risk assessments Excellent leadership, communication, and vendor management skills Proven executive leadership and strategic impact Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Skill in defining and collecting metrics to gauge project progression Strong ability to develop a clear point of view supported by data and analysis and can sell ideas to others Demonstrated leadership skills include selecting, retaining, and developing team leads and obtaining high-quality work from staff Ability to manage geographically dispersed project teams Experience in the life sciences industry or regulated environments (preferred)

Oversee and implement core enterprise IT systems Plan and support migration of IT systems Evaluate existing systems and identify new technologies Lead and mentor a hybrid Enterprise IT team Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement Identify, negotiate, and manage outsourcing partners Ensure service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics are met Collaborate with GRC team for compliance framework Oversee SecOps activities Support vCISO and vDPO functions Develop and maintain IT asset management processes Establish and monitor KPIs for IT and security performance Develop and manage the IT budget Establish and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans Serve as strategic advisor on technology and security trends Lead change management initiatives Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding processes Monitor emerging threats and adjust security posture Champion user training and awareness programs
