Azure Systems Admin - Security

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience) Proven experience in Azure security administration or cloud security engineering Verifiable knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID, RBAC, Conditional Access Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, and Key Vault Solid understanding of network security, firewalls, and Zero Trust architecture Proficiency in PowerShell, ARM/Bicep templates, and security automation Familiarity with SIEM/SOAR tools and incident response workflows

Implement, configure, and manage Azure security controls Administer Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) and Entra ID Configure and monitor Microsoft Defender for Cloud and Microsoft Sentinel Ensure alignment with ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Benchmarks Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures Manage RBAC for secure access to Azure resources Manage Azure Key Vault for secrets and key lifecycle Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and ARM/Bicep templates
