AU Intermediate Accountant (SW0012)

Graduate of Finance and/or Accounting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) OR Chartered Accountant (CA) is preferred Complete knowledge of client accounts and businesses General AU Accounting experience with solid background At least 2-3 years and above experience in Australian accounting Knowledge with Australian Taxation and Compliance is advantageous Knowledge with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Familiar with accounting tools such as Xero and MYOB Ability to learn new systems and tools Ensures quality of work without supervision Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously Good oral and written communication skills

Xero account coding & bank reconciliation Prepayments/Accruals/Fixed asset coding Client invoicing Debtor chasing of overdue invoices Supplier invoices Twice monthly supplier / expense payment run BAS / IAS / Payroll Tax returns Monthly Payroll processing End-of-year payroll reporting End of tax year reconciliations / returns Worker Compensation declarations Monitoring of revenue and staff numbers Monthly management accounts pack from Xero Forecasting / cash flow Tax return liaison Raise potential risks and provide recommendations
