Senior Platform / Data Systems Engineer

Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend engineering Proficiency in at least one modern object-oriented programming language (e.g., Python, Java, TypeScript) Strong experience with AWS services, particularly AWS Lambda, S3, Glue, and Step Functions Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools, preferably Pulumi Experience with data engineering and building data pipelines Experience with Databricks is preferred Excellent problem-solving skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems using Node.js Define and manage cloud infrastructure programmatically Perform data engineering tasks, including data ingestion, transformation, and analysis Design scalable batch and event-driven data pipelines Design and operate scalable analytical and operational data stores Collaborate with cross-functional teams Advocate and implement best practices in code quality, testing, and deployment
