Requirements:
6+ years of experience in partnerships or business development, preferably in high-growth tech environments. Proven success building and scaling strategic partnerships that drive measurable business outcomes. Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating and closing complex partnership deals. Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple levels, including executive and C-suite. Comfortable navigating ambiguity and taking ownership—capable of driving initiatives from strategy through execution. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric mindset. Experience in the payments, fintech, or financial services sector is a strong advantage. Existing network and established relationships with fintech partners across North America is preferred. Willingness to travel internationally (~25% of your time).
Responsibilities:
Drive strategic partner acquisition by identifying, evaluating, and securing new high-impact partnerships. Own and grow a portfolio of key partners, aligning mutual goals and unlocking new opportunities. Build, nurture, and lead long-term, value-driven relationships with strategic partners. Expand commercial opportunities within existing partnerships by identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities. Represent the company at industry conferences, professional events, and partner meetings. Develop and execute robust partnership strategies, including performance analysis and forecasting. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, and Operations teams.
