Senior Director, Data and AI Architecture Leader

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field. Master’s degree preferred. 8+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture or systems design. Strong knowledge of AI operating model and data governance, lineage, and metadata management principles. Ability/experience to establish data governance councils, stewardship, and quality frameworks. Proven experience with large-scale data migration projects and cloud transformation. Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and methodologies. Familiarity with data operability standards (HL7/FHIR; CDISC; OMOP). Strong technical background in database platforms (Databricks; Snowflake; Amazon Redshift). Understanding of cloud architecture principles (AWS preferred). Enterprise systems architecture. AWS and cloud technologies. Data modeling and design. Data lineage and governance tools. ETL/ELT processes. Big data and analytics platforms. Programming knowledge (Python, SQL, etc.). DevOps and CI/CD principles. Machine learning operations (MLOps). Ability to influence executives and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.

Implement responsible Data and AI practices compliant with regulations and ethical principles. Streamline data processes, improve data quality, and enhance analytical capabilities. Build an AI-ready data foundation for leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence. Advise the Data and AI committee on AI solutions, investments, and benefit analysis. Collaborate across business and IT, demonstrating strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Improve data and AI literacy across the organization.
