Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. 0 to 3 years of related experience. Completion of Part I of the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (preferred). Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D (preferred). Knowledge of Bluebeam Revu (preferred). Strong written and verbal communication/coordination skills.
Responsibilities:
Perform high voltage substation design, including electrical installation and PR&C design. Prepare one-line diagrams, electrical installation plans, and related diagrams. Prepare panel elevations and PR&C schematic, wiring, and interconnection diagrams. Prepare auxiliary power equipment sizing calculations. Perform complex engineering calculations/studies related to substation projects. Create SCADA RTU control, status and analog point lists. Prepare construction drawings with assistance. Prepare construction specifications, project documents, and bill of material lists. Attend site visits as required. Assist in proposal preparation. Assist Project Managers. Attend client, project, and staff meetings. Attend seminars and training classes. Maintain excellent client relations. Maintain a safe working environment.
