Requirements:
4+ years of professional experience in motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing social-first content and product-focused animations.
Proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Canva, and other relevant design tools.
Expertise in creating short-form animations, product walkthroughs, motion graphics, and GIFs for social media.
Strong design sensibility with attention to detail, typography, and visual storytelling.
Ability to adapt to brand guidelines while pushing creative boundaries.
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work cross-functionally with marketers, designers, and content creators.
Self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Experience working in SaaS, edtech, or within the creator economy (nice to have).
Familiarity with video editing tools (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or similar) (nice to have).
Knowledge of current trends in motion design, animation, and social media (nice to have).
Responsibilities:
Design and produce motion graphics, product demos, product feature animations, social animations, GIFs, and short-form video assets for Teachable's social channels.
Translate static creative concepts into engaging motion content that supports campaigns, launches, product storytelling, and evergreen social content.
Collaborate with the social media manager and brand designer to ensure content aligns with Teachable's visual identity and social strategy.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality assets.
Stay current on motion design, animation, and social media trends to keep content fresh and innovative.
Optimize creative for different platforms (Instagram, YouTube + YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, etc.).
