Home Loan Center Inside Loan Officer (Remote - WA, ID, OR, CA)

Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered) NMLS registration required 4 or more years of experience in mortgage loan origination required Proven pattern of success in consistent origination, closing, and funding of mortgage loans. Knowledge of mortgage procedures, regulations, underwriting, and loan processes and procedures. Possess effective presentation, interpersonal, verbal and written communication, and negotiation skills. Knowledge of the residential mortgage lending process for 1 to 4 family dwellings. Knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations related to mortgage loan origination.

Originate standard residential type mortgage loans via telephone and internet with customers referred by identified branches of the Bank. Originate residential mortgage loans for employees of the Bank. Originate loans in compliance with the Bank’s underwriting guidelines and those published by the Bank's investors. Ensure strict compliance with regulator requirements for residential loan origination. Set up originated loans in the Bank's system and ensuring processing through submission for underwriting. Attend internal training sessions, internal sales meetings, and external training opportunities. Comply with policies, procedures, security requirements, and government regulations.
