Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software or related field. 5+ years in software testing. Hands-on experience testing web applications and mobile apps end-to-end. 3+ years focused on test automation, including designing scalable frameworks and CI integration. Proficiency with Cypress and JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with API testing (Postman/Newman, supertest, REST/GraphQL). Experience with at least one additional tool (Playwright/WebdriverIO/Jest/Mocha). Comfortable with CI/CD (GitHub Actions/CircleCI/GitLab), Git, and basic Docker. Strong analytical skills; fluency with SDLC/Agile. Ability to produce clear documentation. Experience writing and maintaining automated tests (unit/integration/E2E). Experience with Cypress specifically.
Responsibilities:
Define risk-based test plans and acceptance criteria. Build and maintain automated tests (E2E, integration, API). Implement and own CI/CD test gates. Perform targeted manual/exploratory testing. Create and manage test data, mocks, and environment configurations. Coordinate with engineers to reproduce, triage, and debug issues. Own post-deploy smoke testing and release sign-off. Continuously improve QA/SDET toolchain and practices.
