Senior DevOps Engineer

5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Systems Engineer role. Comfortable with web servers (Nginx). Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, including replication and performance tuning). Proficiency with Linux (Amazon Linux/CentOS/RedHat). Knowledge and experience with Docker containerization. Experience with container orchestration and management (e.g., Kubernetes or AWS ECS). Worked with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Cloudfront or OpenSearch). Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated build/deployment processes. Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Datadog or Grafana). Experience applying SRE principles such as SLOs and error budgets. Worked with incident management processes, including postmortems. Solid understanding of security practices in cloud and DevOps environments (IAM, data protection, secrets management, compliance).

Design, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure. Develop and maintain a monitoring and observability framework. Manage and optimize web servers, relational databases, and Linux systems. Utilize Docker for containerization and manage orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS ECS. Work with AWS services to build and maintain scalable and secure cloud solutions. Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Security teams. Implement and maintain security best practices. Contribute to security standards compliance and foster a DevSecOps culture.
