Linguistic Quality Control Specialist LatAm or Europe

Minimum of 6 months of experience in localization with a focus on quality assurance and quality control. Experience with CAT tools such as XTM, Trados, MemoQ, Phrase, or similar (excluding OmegaT). Experience with QA tools like Xbench, Verifika, or integrated QA checks within CAT tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on the Track Changes function in Word. Advanced level in English (C1 or higher).

Perform quality control checks on translated documents for accuracy, consistency, and client guidelines. Review and verify document formatting, layout, and non-linguistic elements. Handle specialized content areas including In Vitro Diagnostics, Biology, Chemistry, Medical Devices, Patient-facing materials, Pharmacovigilance, Pharmacy, Scientific Publications, and Investigator-facing documents. Utilize CAT tools (XTM/Phrase/Trados/MemoQ) for QC tasks, including integrated QA checks. Adhere to specific requirements of client-provided applications and tools. Ensure daily availability of 4-6 hours during office hours and work on Fridays. Use Microsoft Office, especially Track Changes in Word, to document and communicate QC findings. Collaborate with the project management team for timely delivery.
