Staff, Product Manager - API Gateway and Developer Experience

4+ years of experience envisioning and building resilient, high-throughput services and products. Ability to work with engineering, architecture, design, product marketing, GTM sales and customer support to launch new products. Ability to contribute to product management from technical and business perspectives. Ability to ship quality products in a fast-paced environment and communicate across all organizational levels. Experience working directly with engineers and engineering management. Strong technical background. Hands on, passionate, and collaborative. Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and data-driven approach. Outstanding written and oral communication skills. Coding experience (academic, professional, or personal) is desired. Experience with REST API industry standards, SDK best practices is a big plus. Experience in developing large-scale, enterprise-grade APIs for PaaS and SaaS platforms, including API gateways, SDK development, and infrastructure is desired. A Master in Engineering or Technology degree is preferred.

Create and contribute to the roadmap for your product area. Communicate business and technical rationale behind product decisions. Define and report product metrics. Mock up concepts, write functional specs, cut tickets, and write copy to express ideas. Work with engineering teams and provide product support. Engage with the developer community to improve products.
