Requirements:
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent Agile certification. 7+ years of experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and removing blockers for Agile teams. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Scrum, Kanban, and familiarity with SAFe. Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to support Agile delivery teams in a hybrid/distributed work environment. Prior experience on federal or DHS-related IT projects strongly preferred. Advanced Scrum certifications (A-CSM, CSP) preferred. Experience with Lean or other Agile scaling frameworks preferred. Background in software development or technical project delivery preferred. Experience supporting Agile transformation initiatives preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline preferred.
Responsibilities:
Serve as Scrum Master for Agile teams, facilitating Scrum events. Collaborate with Product Owners on product backlogs. Remove impediments to team progress. Track Agile metrics for reporting. Foster communication within the team and with stakeholders. Coach team members and stakeholders in Agile. Support user story development and refinement. Utilize Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
