Requirements:
More than 10+ years of experience in forensic delay analysis in the construction and engineering industry. A recognized undergraduate degree in construction management, engineering quantity surveying, or similar from a leading university. A post graduate qualification in construction law (or similar) is desirable but not essential. Chartered professional status, or equivalent. Minimum 5 years on-site construction experience with engineering or construction firms, or a construction claim/dispute firm. Excellent oral and verbal communications skills. Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams. Professionalism and client facing ability, able to build trust. A strong technical underpinning in project planning. Relationship building and strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in programming software (i.e., Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project). A Flexible approach to their work. An understanding of the demands of project-based work, able to work under pressure and an ability to meet deadlines. A sense of personal responsibility for the quality of their work. Fluent in English. Command of a second language is desirable.
Responsibilities:
Involved in construction dispute resolution, claims assessment, and delay/disruption analysis. Provide programming support on live projects. Act as lead assistant to Delay Expert(s). Perform forensic delay analysis and contribute to expert report preparation. Show initiative, perform advanced data research, manage client relations, and deliver to deadlines. Prepare and make presentations to communicate results. Assist in promoting construction advisory services.
