Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5+ years of industry experience. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a pre-sales environment. Current or prior Sales Engineering and/or professional services experience. Experience with Microsoft software (Active Directory, Windows servers/clients). Experience with Linux platforms. Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), SSL, X509 (asset). Experience with webservers & firewall/load balancers software/platforms (asset). Experience with Public Cloud (Azure, GCP, AWS) (asset). Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) against REST APIs (asset). Ability to travel more than 35% of the time. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service and account management abilities. Ability to interface with administrators and C-level executives. Software as a Service (SaaS) technical solutions selling. Solid multi-tasking, troubleshooting, and problem resolution abilities. Self-starter with a can-do attitude, quick learner, team player. English language proficiency required.
Responsibilities:
Assist sales teams with customer management and expectations during the sales process. Conduct technical presentations and demos for prospects and channel partners. Provide Proof of Concept services and assist with implementation planning. Train channel partners and respond to technical inquiries. Assist with sales proposals and RFPs/RFIs. Contribute to the SE Readiness Program, developing expertise and sharing best practices. Travel regionally for customer-facing activities, marketing, and events. Channel feature requests to Product Management. Participate in alliance projects and build vendor/customer relationships.
