Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field At least two or three years’ experience with electrical transmission and electrical distribution products In-depth knowledge of the T&D industry, customers, and local markets At least five years’ experience in outside sales, especially to utility companies, contractors and EPC companies Some experience overseeing third party channel partners Valid driver’s license Willing to travel at least 50% of the time

Drive sales Develop and achieve sales goals Participate in selecting and developing channel partners Work directly with utility companies, contractors, and EPC companies Develop, monitor, and train channel partners Partner with customers to identify requirements Achieve approved vendor status Develop sales strategies Respond to RFPs, process quotations, track bids Study competitor products Prepare sales presentations and reports Develop sales forecasts Analyze market trends Give voice of the customer feedback
