Senior Backend (Java/Kotlin) Engineer | Alfred [26k-28k B2B]

Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a Back-End engineer, with at least 3 years in Java/Kotlin Proven track record in designing IaaC services and systems involving multiple microservices Experience in implementing and suggesting new architectural solutions Experience building cloud products (GCP used by Alfreð) Experience with testing, specifically Test Driven Development (TDD) Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Firebase) Experience with distributed systems Kubernetes experience is preferred Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Familiarize with processes, code, and architecture Take responsibility for Alfreð brand products, including creating new features and maintaining existing ones Improve existing solutions for better scalability Focus on testing and code quality Configure and monitor deployments, suggest and implement setup improvements
