Demonstrated track record of student achievement in secondary mathematics. Experience leading and managing major, complex efforts with strong process and project management. 4+ years of math teaching experience. 2+ years of math instructional coaching/curriculum development/program implementation experience. 2+ years of math instructional leadership at a district/regional level or similar role. Bachelor’s degree required. Strong math instructional and coaching expertise. Knowledge of culturally relevant teaching practices and current research. Skilled in effective professional learning and instructional coaching techniques. Highly skilled in leading Internalization and Planning, Observation/Feedback, providing real-time feedback, leading Weekly Data Meetings, and setting academic goals. Efficiently defines metrics and ensures actions are data-driven. Effectively identifies and addresses root causes to problems. Effectively articulates case for change and translates into actionable plans. Tailors communications for different audiences to drive action and behavior change.

Support the implementation of the One KIPP K-12 mathematics model. Manage the roll-out of an AP-aligned high school curriculum program (Imagine IM/Carnegie). Support the effective execution of the One KIPP high school assessment strategy. Develop instructional coaching tools and resources. Drive year-over-year improvements in student outcomes on assessments. Support the development of regional and school-based academic leaders. Co-design and co-facilitate monthly professional development sessions. Coach regional academic leaders in coaching skills. Partner directly with regions to build and/or refine their high school math systems.
