Requirements:
U.S. citizen residing within the U.S. 50 states during background screening, onboarding processes, and while working as a Tutor Age 18 or over with a high school diploma or GED Must clear a Criminal History Check and all other security and health requirements On-camera presence is required during tutoring sessions and other activities Must have access to own personal reliable internet Spanish proficiency strongly preferred (ability to deliver math instruction in Spanish to support multilingual learners)
Responsibilities:
Provide daily math tutoring to assigned caseload of students for multiple class periods Develop lesson plans and prep for tutoring sessions using Saga Curriculum Manage input and analysis of student data to differentiate math instruction and adapt lesson plans Maintain attendance records, monitor student academic progress, and provide feedback Navigate varying technology and troubleshoot technical issues Develop student incentives, trackers, and support with celebrations, awards, and recognition Proactively check and respond to emails and Slack daily, and consult with Client Relationship Manager or Director of District Partnerships Participate in observation and feedback sessions, weekly reflections, and professional development Build strong relationships with students to set expectations and manage behavior effectively Build strong relationships with teachers, other staff, and the community Engage and assist with other duties as assigned Maintain ongoing communication with classroom teachers and attend planning sessions with the school
