Quality Assurance Engineer - Automation

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience in software testing with a 1+ year of experience focus on automation. Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#. Experience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD. Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr. Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define test requirements. Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution. Implement and enhance automation frameworks to improve testing efficiency. Execute test cases, analyze results, and generate test reports. Perform load, performance, and security testing as needed. Continuously research and recommend best practices for automation testing. Ensure CI/CD integration with automated testing pipelines.
